Staying Healthy…Your reflections….

While interviewing students @ my job (Gary Job. Corps in San Marcos, Tx) I got the chance to get a reflection on how much the students utilize the work out machines on center. ive discovered a lot about the students and how much they work out each day after working on their trade. At the Center, there are several students that are from everywhere around the U.S. Coming from all over, it seems like students that are not American tend to work out lesser than students from the U.s. On a scale from 1-10, many student say there are not that many things to do? what they do not realize is if you want to lose the weight, you have to do it yourself and not depend on others to FORCE you. It’s YOUR body, treat it like it’s very valuable.  Here are some recommendations from myself that ive came up with that a person should do, they are as follows:

Recommended levels of activity are as follows:

  • 20-60 minutes of aerobic activity 3-5 days a week
  • weight training for 20-30 minutes 2-3 times a week
  • stretching exercises 2-3 times a week

Most gyms will offer a complimentary training session when you join to get you started. You can also pay personal trainers to ensure that you’re doing all the exercises correctly.

In Conclusion,When it comes to staying healthy, there is a surplus of factors you need to consider—what you eat, how much you exercise, how you keep clean and even how often you sleep!
